#60: CNY'13 Family Edition

So this year CNY we had something special, having gifts exchange which we usually practice during Christmas. But since we did not have a Christmas family gathering last year, we decided to delay our gift exchange to CNY. Hahah so awesome right. Steamboat is a tradition in our family where we have 3 meals of steamboat a day which last for at least 3 days -___- Seriously steamboat overloaded and what more am not a fan of it at all. Hmm. 

Page 302: Sunday Morning Breakfast

The bff's sent me text early in the morning waking me up. Asked her to send me tarts to compensate me for waking me up as early as 8am on a Sunday morning, she shoo-ed me back to sleep when I couldn't sleep anymore. Double triple meh. Went to the mall with mumsie love since she wants to go to the health expo thingy. Went to papparich for breakfast with the mumsie love. Ahhh, half-boiled eggs (my fav) tasted so good and pappa naan for breakfast. I can have my daily dose of half-boiled eggs today. 

Page 218: Distance

Today is a good day. Milo for breakfast. Hakka food for lunch with the family @ The Curve. Coconut jelly for dessert. McD for dinner with mum. I can have proper meals. It's a good Sunday well spent with the family. It's been long. I guess I miss these family time. Precious moment I have today. 

Ying Ker Lou's pan mee is the best! (Y) Yummeh and it's my kind of unique pan mee. 

Talking about distance, I am very used to distance. Having my cousins all far far away at Penang, my kind of paradise, I only get to see them at most 3-4 times a year. The least would be twice a year. So I would always have fun back there seeing them and spending time with them. I have always envy the cousins who stayed so near together that they went to the same school, their houses are like walking distant. Ahhh, and they all left me alone over here. T_T I am so used to enduring the long journey sitting in the car, pretty enjoy those moment. Just looking out at the window, staring at the greenery, the hills, the palm trees, the paddy fields listening to the music on radio, staring blankly outside. Always having the deep in thoughts moment. I love travelling! Absence makes the heart grow fonder, it's because of the distance that I don't get to see the cousiees much but at the same time I appreciate every moment when we meet each other. Till the extent that I used to cry when I have to leave the place, but not anymore of course, that was back then when I was a kid. hehe! I miss them! Weii you all, please come down to KL can or not. Grrr. 

and 250km? still meh. 

Page 121: Birthday #familyedition

Ohey, it's almost May. So i decided that maybe I should blog something about my birthday after procrastinating for so long. I told myself to blog before May, but looks like I won't make it. Had the first birthday celebration @Plan B with my cousins. She insisted on going to this place since the comments she read online about this place was pretty great. So yeah, having to queue for tables, it was so crowded on a Friday night. The food portion is big and the awesome part was the food were yummylicious. Thumbs up! Aunt bought me cupcakes from Bijoux, they were the prettiest food that night and every picture has them in it. Haha, stars of the night! Am lovin the cupcakes a lot. 

I am blessed to have cousins to plan for my birthday dinner a month before my birthday. Thank you cousieees who are my personal happy therapy that we never fail to laugh out loud at almost everything whenever I am with you all. I've always wanted to be in the same school with my cousiees. I am always jealous with my cousiees back in Penang because they all get to study in the same school, and me stucked over here alone in school and only get to see them during the long holidays. I have thoughts and dreams to transfer school to Penang to study with them. Obviously, that's just some unrealistic dreams. Now, being in the same uni with my two happy therapy cousins, I am blessed to have them. Having to just give a call to them and we would meet up, having to bump into them in the washroom, having to crash at their condo, having them to nom nom together and having them to talk to me most importantly. Sisters love. I just love my family :)

Page 79: #3 Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta & Convocation

Hello again, I know you are sick of me already. Just bear with me, updates gonna end soon. This is the last updates about last week. On Saturday, woke up in the morning and laze too much that Frau acted like ah ma kept asking us to get ready (she's so gonna kill me, but nvm). So we headed to Putrajaya in the NOON, only to realize there weren't any hot air balloons in the noon. Only in the morning or evening. Errrp, wasted going all the way there. But at least we got to take some pictures and went up to the Monumen Alaf Baru. Parted with frau they all since they were going to Ikea, and we headed off to cousiee's convocation. Congrats dear bro (nerdy but stylish) with first class honours, *envy! Had an awesome dinner with them (the food at Restaurant Stadium Negara @Jalan Yap Kwan Seng were VERY very delicious!) and shopping time at Pavilion. Had been a year since I last see my couz bro. Went to buy Ochado with him, and it's so weird when a guy (stranger) asked me if my cup of Roasted Pearl Milk Tea was actually soya bean. :O Sucha weirdo stranger.

Page 79: #1 Aunt's Birthday Celebration

Hey there, I have so much to update. Last week had been a great week spending most of the time with the family. Haven't been updating because I had been going out everyday with the family that am so tired to blog at night. Not to mentioned had been hooked up with draw something apps too. So yeah, reached home at night I spent time playing draw something only that I barely touch my laptop at all. Today, marks less than a week till my holidays end. Am so not prepare for the next sem :( I have so much to do more. So here are the updates. 

Celebrated aunt's belated birthday on the 14th March @Secret of Louisiana. They had these awesome crew who played the guitar and sang birthday song. So much fun! The food was okay, this was my 2nd time there. Previously was the lunch buffet at this place with the unimates. There were 8 choices of spaghetti and you can eat all you want. The price is reasonable and it's still ongoing. If you are a spaghetti lover, try the lunch buffet. :) 

We went over to Taylor's Lakeside campus for a walk before heading back. Ahhh, that beautiful campus. How I wish my campus is this pretty too! Coming soon, but I don't think I will get to enjoy that. Meh.
